A farmhouse estate in Brevard sold for $9.3 million, marking the most pricey residential sale recorded in the Asheville place.

It is also the most costly sale at any time recorded in the Canopy MLS, a subsidiary company of the Canopy Realtor Association. 

The estate located at 3903 Island Ford Highway sits on 160 acres and is composed of a most important residence, two visitor cottages and a pool house.
