A South Nashville house located around downtown and owned by the exact loved ones since 1956 has bought for far more than $1.57 million, according to a Davidson County Sign-up of Deeds doc.

The new operator of the property, found at 155 Lafayette St. and accommodating a nondescript constructing, is an LLC affiliated with downtown-dependent nonprofit Tennessee Justice Centre.

The vendor was Corenswet Partners LP. At minimum 1 member of the Corenswet family members had, about the decades, owned Great Liquor Keep. That business enterprise even now operates from the just-marketed residence, as does David’s Discount Tobacco and Beer.

Tennessee Justice Middle officials could not be attained for comment about their options for the constructing, even though a transfer to the recently ordered building looks possible. The center, which offers lawful and social supports for family members in have to have, operates at 211 Seventh Ave. N. in the former Young Women’s Christian Association Setting up, to day used as office environment place but slated for a hotel (go through listed here).

The distinct cost was $1,574,500.

Charlie Gibson, controlling director with the regional workplace of Cushman & Wakefield, represented the vendor, and Janet Sterchi and Doug Ryan of Colliers represented the purchaser.

The blocks of Lafayette Street south of the interstate loop have obtained a bit of interest the past few many years (read through additional right here, listed here and in this article).
