GREENBELT, Md. – Two suspects are on the run following getting observed squatting in an apartment whilst the citizens had been on family vacation, in accordance to authorities.

Police launched shots of the suspects, a gentleman, and a female, in hopes that the community can assist establish them.

The Greenbelt Police Office stated on April 5 the citizens of the apartment came dwelling from family vacation to discover their entrance door was weakened, and the apartment was mostly empty. The condominium is situated in the 9300 block of Edmonston Road in Greenbelt, Maryland. Law enforcement say the apartment was becoming leased by a person of the victims, and that the second victim was her close friend who was remaining with her.

The people noted to police that after getting into the apartment, they located two suspects, who they did not know, lying on a bed. The suspects advised the residents that they experienced taken all their property, and then reportedly became aggressive with the victims prior to fleeing the scene.

FOX 5 spoke to just one of the victims, whose identification we are concealing for her safety. 

She suggests it was this sort of a frightening experience she had nightmares about it and did not leave her dwelling for a 7 days. 

“Not only ended up they in my household, but almost everything in my household was gone besides for my mattress mainly because he specifics how he liked my mattress so much. And I’m like who are you?
